# Licensing Customer Support Tickets for AI

Support tickets can contain examples of diagnosis, escalation and verified resolution that may be valuable for AI customer-service systems. The same records often contain customer identifiers, credentials and confidential information.

## What makes a ticket history useful?

Problem descriptions paired with final resolutions can provide concrete workflow outcomes. Categories, escalation paths and timestamps may add training context that a static support article lacks.

Not all records are usable: duplicates, unresolved complaints, personal data and third-party proprietary content require careful handling.

## Prepare a limited inventory before sharing

Document helpdesk platforms, the years represented, rough counts of resolved cases, languages, case categories and whether outcomes are recorded. Avoid handing over a production export for an informal valuation.

Exclude passwords, payment details, protected health information, personal identifiers, customer attachments and any client-owned content unless rights and safeguards are independently established.
